 Society Event Schedule

Our upcoming events are generally scheduled for the second Tuesday of the month (subject to change).

Unless otherwise indicated, meetings will be held in the Conference Center at the Naples Beach Hotel, which is located at 851 Gulf Shore Blvd. North, Naples. The luncheon meetings will begin promptly at noon and usually run through 1:30pm.  Please email our Secretary, Justin Land, for questions regarding our upcoming event schedule.

David brings the substantial financial industry and research experience gained in his 25+ year career to the fore in his role as the Head of CreditSights' US Financial Institutions Group and the Senior US Financial Services Analyst. He is well known for his strong voice and highly regarded for his timely insights which leverage a unique combination of extensive experience in both credit and equity research.
 
David joined CreditSights from Credit Suisse First Boston (1998-2001), where he was a Director and, as part of the U.S. Bank team, covered multinational, super-regional and processing banks. In 2000 the team achieved the Institutional Investor All-American ranking for equity research.  Prior to that he spent three years at Smith Barney (1994-1997) as Managing Director and Head of Corporate Bond Research.  In 1995, David was ranked an Institutional Investor All-American in recognition of his fixed income research on U.S. banks.
 
David started his financial services career at New York Life Insurance (1983-1987) where he was a private placement and public bonds analyst. He received an MBA in Finance from New York University's Stern School (1986) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania (1983). David is popular on the speaker circuit and is frequently quoted in the financial media. He is a member of the Fixed Income Analysts Association, the Capital Markets Credit Analyst Association, the CFA Institute, the New York Society of Security Analysts, and the Financial Analysts Association.

FreeMark Klym, Senior Counsel - ASW&M PA

Mark Klym is a Senior Counsel for Alvarez, Sambol, Winthrop & Madson, P.A. Mr. Klym attended the University of Vermont in Burlington, VT, earning a B.A. in 1992. He then received his J.D. from Ohio Northern University in 1995.

From 1995 to 1998 Mr. Klym practiced with the Navy JAG Corps and in 1998, he began to solely practice in the area of Trusts and Estates. His experience with two well-regarded law firms, Nicholls and Crampton, PA and Brady, Nordgren, Klym & Morton, PLLC has given him a wealth of experience in the preparation and implementation of all segments of estate plans including durable general powers of attorney, health care directives, revocable trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, beneficiary designation planning and utilization of Section 529 plans. His background includes the development of succession plans, drafting limited liability companies and start-ups, administration of Trusts and Guardianships as well as the administration of Estates.

Mr. Klym works from the Bonita Springs office of ASW&M, P.A. focusing his practice on Estate Planning, Probate, Wills, Trusts and Small Business. He is licensed in both North Carolina and Florida.
