Jack Brown, CFA, is founder of Laureola Asset Management Company. His primary responsibilities include portfolio management and investment research. Prior to this, Jack was a Director for Prudential's Strategic Investment Research Group. He also managed a due diligence team at Smith Barney & was an industry analyst for UBS covering closed-end funds. His formal education includes an MBA focusing in Economics from Drexel University and a B.A. in Economics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Jack has been a charterholder since 2003, and joined the CFA Society of Naples in 2005.

At CapTrust Advisors, LLC, Gary is an Investment Consultant and head of their Southwest Florida office Gary is a member of CapTrust’s Investment Manager Committee focusing on economics and strategy. He has thirty years investment experience in working with institutional clients and wealthy families. Gary is a graduate of Wayne State University with a MBA degree in finance and Eastern Michigan University with a BBA degree in management. He also is a graduate of the National Trust School at Northwestern University.

Mr. Land is a municipal bond portfolio manager and trader at Wasmer, Schroeder & Company. Wasmer, Schroeder & Company, Inc. is a fixed income investment advisor with $2.3 billion in assets under management and has offices in Naples, FL and Cleveland, OH. Mr. Land’s duties consist of overall portfolio strategy, trading tax-exempt fixed income securities, and research. Prior to joining Wasmer, Schroeder & Company in 1997, Mr. Land worked for Asset Management Advisors in Jupiter, Florida as a Portfolio Analyst. Mr. Land is a graduate of Florida State University. He is on the board of the CFA Society of Naples as well as being an active member of Temple Beth Tikvah and a volunteer at the Montessori Academy of Naples.

Daniel Burke is an Investment Associate at Lowry Hill, a private asset management firm overseeing $5 billion in assets for approximately 300 families and foundations. As a member of the firm’s investment committee, Dan researches stocks for the International Equity strategy, focusing his coverage on the commodity and agriculture sectors. Prior to joining Lowry Hill, he analyzed client equity portfolios at Morgan Stanley. Dan earned his BSBA in Finance with Honors from Bowling Green State University in 2005 and is a CFA Charterholder.
